The eVisa for Zimbabwe is an electronic travel authorization for foreigners with a passport of any of the eligible countries. It was introduced by the Government of Zimbabwe to reduce unnecessary time at the immigration offices and make it easier to cross the border.
You can fill out our easy form and as soon as it is approved, we will send you 3 documents to your email address that you will have to print (The Payment Verification, The Payment Confirmation (the receipt) and the Visa IF1Form) and show upon arrival.
Depending on the purpose of your trip you can apply either for a Holiday visa if you are going to travel around the country or visit someone, or a Transit visa in case you are in the country for a small layover.
Only people holding a passport from eligible countries can apply for an e-Visa for Zimbabwe. The validity is 3 months since it’s issued and it will allow you to enter the country once (Single-entry visa) or twice (Double-entry visa).
KAZA UNIVISAAre you planning to visit both Zimbabwe and Zambia? If so, your best option is the KAZA Univisa allowing you to enter both of them. The validity is for one year and it allows you to visit both countries multiple times for up to 30 days.
Requirements for Zimbabwe e-VisaBefore applying, prepare the following information:
- A valid passport
- A personal photo
- Proof of residence in your country of origin
- Address at destination (for Holiday visa)
- A valid debit or credit card
Once it is approved, you will receive these 3 documents: The Payment Verification, The Payment Confirmation (the receipt) and the Visa IF1Form. You have to print all of them and present them upon your arrival, where you get a copy of your own Visa.
You must be aware that getting an eVisa does not guarantee entry to the country. Your request will be received and studied by the immigration officers and they reserve the right to deny entering Zimbabwe without any reason.
However, applying online and holding a visa before the trip will always save you time at the border and get rid of the need to visit the embassy.
We also recommend you to apply for the e-visa at least one week before your trip in order to avoid any delay.
